This page contains details of characters that exist in the Clashcradyne canon (many of them for years), but whom I haven't got around to developing and creating ref sheets for. They are mostly still defined only by their relationships to other characters. Jump:
Remarks:
Agrus is a gemcutter, and expected to pass her skills on to Niemnus. When Niemnus showed no interest in the trade, preferring to study healing magic, Agrus found Silrathus much more receptive. Silrathus occasionally hires Agrus when there is a large backlog of gemcutting to get through.
Remarks:
Borog is a joiner (carpenter).
Borog and Silrathus are 'twins' - they hatched from the same clutch, albeit years apart. Ontos twins are rare: ontos normally lay only one egg at a time, and when two or more eggs are laid, they must be kept apart if both are to survive, otherwise the stronger egg will absorb the weaker. Parents who wish to raise only one egg will leave the two eggs in close proximity to induce this very scenario. This is what happened with Silrathus' and Borog's eggs; but the larger egg, to everyone's surprise, did not bother to absorb the smaller one. The larger one hatched into Silrathus, and the smaller egg remained unhatched, showing minimal signs of life. The eggs' parents (Agrus and Osmus) assumed the smaller egg was a dud, until it hatched 2 years later. Its occupant was Borog, whose arrival was a welcome surprise.
Remarks:
Git.
Remarks:
Ialthius is the curator of a museum and is Murgatranthes' former employer.
Remarks:
Irus is very mistrustful of humans, having been used by a summoner as a pit fighter until she stopped winning enough fights to bring in money. Nowadays demon-summoning is a lot safer for both parties, and it's extremely hard to summon a demon who doesn't want to be.
Remarks:
Staron claims she obtained her spear from a foe she vanquished in combat. Really she won it at cards.
Remarks:
Miotes is a human-fucker. You could say he's... Homo-sexual.
Remarks:
Niemnus is a healer of disease. Her healing powers involve drawing your illness out of you and into herself, where her kick-ass immune system destroys it. Her body then expels the disease in the form of green pustules on the skin. Niemnus managed to modify her powers enough to concentrate the pustules to just her tail. She doesn't mind if you think her tail is digusting. Saying 'your tail is disgusting' to Niemnus is like her saying 'you have five toes' to you.
Remarks:
Osmus is unfortunately caught between life and death. His physical form was destroyed beyond repair in a battle with a wizard, but for some reason he was unable to dissipate into soul-particles and reincarnate. Until he can find a permanent new body to inhabit, Osmus 'lives' in a phylactery that his partner Agrus carries with her. He also sometimes possesses Agrus and their mutual partner Kalstaron, with their permission.
Remarks:
Raktor works as a go-between agent, matching suppliers with buyers. He sometimes does freelance work for a human/demon-run agency that matches suitable summoners with potential demons.
Remarks:
Ulphara works as Irus' bodyguard. Ulphara's role is to come to Irus' defence should any summoner try to recruit the latter again.
Hiring Ulphara as a minor aristocrat's bodyguard is like using a tank to open a walnut: Ulphara is an elite-trained combatant and is vastly overqualified for her job. Nevertheless, there she remains. She is secretly quite fond of Irus, and she definitely enjoys having access to dirt and blackmail material.
